Butcher Select
Our farmer's choice bulk beef — a blend of steaks, roasts, and ground beef from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished cattle raised on Amish pastures.
Estimated Share Sizes (finished, freezer-packed):
- 1/8 Share (~50 lbs): A mix of steaks, roasts, and ground beef in 1 lb packages. Great for individuals or small families.
- 1/4 Share (~100 lbs): About 65 lbs of 1 lb ground beef packages, plus a mix of steaks and roasts. The most popular choice for families.
- 1/2 Share (~200 lbs): Double the quarter share, ground beef in 1 lb packages, plus a hearty selection of steaks and roasts.
- Full Share (~400 lbs): The whole cow. Maximum variety and value. You'll get a mix of ground beef in 1 lb packages plus every cut of steak and roast.
💡 Every cow is different. These are estimates based on typical hanging weights. A recent quarter share ran 133 lbs instead of ~100 — the customer got more product at the same $11/lb price. Your final invoice reflects the actual weight from the butcher.
How it works:
- Select your share size above and pay the $250 deposit to reserve
- William takes the cow to our preferred butcher where we get the actual hanging weight
- We invoice you the balance at $11/lb for the final weight, minus your $250 deposit
- Pay by bank transfer to keep fees low, more money stays with our farm family and not credit card companies.
